Quadzilla Xzillaraider 2

I'm new to the diesel world, but have always loved them. I want to be safe with the truck and everything, so i'm going to take it easy with the power levels. I also want to be able to smoke heavily if possible.haha. i was just wondering if the Xzillaraider 2 was a good product.
If not, what would you reccomend?

Its for a 03 5.9l Cummins with the auto trans. I have heard that edge makes a good product due to the defueling.
at the moment i have a Airraid intake and a 5 inch MBRP straight pipe exhaust.

I have the Quad X2 race, and while it's a great product for an 03, if I were you I'd get a Smarty. Not much more money and better power results and more adjustability. Quite honestly the customer support is good w/ both companies, IMO it seems to be a little bit better w/ Smarty these days.
EDITED out of fairness to Quadzilla

I had quite a few problems out of my X2 Race.

You won't see much smoke. It's a pressure and timing box,
If you want smoke go with a smarty or PPE

Is the smarty a lot like the quadzilla where i can download different tunes from the website, or does it just come with the 5 settings, and i can select from those?

Sorry about all the questions, i am new to this, and want to know what i'm gettom before i spend the money.
And will the smaty work with the Commander monitor? becuase my friend has one that he is selling for real cheap, and i would like to be able to monitor EGT's, Boost, etc...

And on which setting does the smarty smoke, produce more power than stock, and keep it safe. i dont need to go frying a trans and a engine.
Is it like the edge where you can change it on the fly?

Smarty has 9 settings but you can make adjustments to these settings. TM, Timing, Rail pressure and more.

I haven't had any problems with my X2 Race. This makes the second Quadzilla box I have used and both worked very well for me. Mine smokes pretty good on the smoke tune, but I don't run it much. I hate getting the soot off the rear fenders. One of the biggest things I like about the Quad is how the power is added. It adds power very smoothly and doesn't give you everything it has all at once, so you don't break things. Also, I am running the mileage tune on setting #1 and noticed a big increase in fuel mileage. My truck runs very smooth and the power is very respectable with low EGTs.

The smarty will make more power, but it isn't adjustable on the fly which was the reason I went back to Quadzilla. The smarty does have 9 different settings and it will smoke more. It is also a good product that many people use. I personally like plug & play modules over the downloaders just because I don't like remapping the computer everytime I want to change power levels.

What problems???

I am here all the time, if you have a problem pm me. I think it is a LOT to ask of me to scan every thread every day to search for stuff.

Or when all else fails we have a toll free number that has a live person on the other end. You can talk direct with us, the manufacturer, something you cannot do with Smarty.

Just another FYI, we monitor on hold times for tech support with our phone system. When there is a wait the average hold time is 1 min 36 seconds. SO if you need something you can get a hold of us.

Well, My X2 assisted water in taking out 2 RP sensors due to a "vented" harness plug(holes in the top of the plug). Do you realize how much two RP sensors cost these days? Luckily I was able to find a cheaper outlet the second time. I've called and posted on this w/ not alot of help or response. Luckily I know what I'm doing to some extent under the hood; just think if I'd gone to the dealer, $$$$$$$$$$$!!! It just seems to me that you guys are slammed and CS or quality might be suffering. JMO from a long time Quadzilla customer.

I have never waited for customer support from Quad.... Always been quick for me! Bang on wood......I've never had issues with their product.

Ohh and no doubt on the Rail Sensors.....go to the local Cummins dealer....there you will only spend an arm....not the arm and leg you
give up at the dealer!

If you are getting water on top of the engine in enough quantity to hurt sensors then you have problems. If you do it twice you have a LOT of problems?

I don't think it is fair to say that the X2 took out your RP sensor but, I am willing to listen and I am very curious how you got water up there.
