Question Quadzilla intake question?

I just ordered a Quadzilla intake last night for my truck and I was wondering if aftermarket tubes such as the torque tube will fit on it. I want to remove the stock one with the baffles and such. Is there a way I can make one for under 60 bucks? What would be needed to do this? Thanks in advance.

I tried to get the AFE Torque tube to work to no avail I went and did a search for torque tube and found 5.5" aluminum pipe to replace the stock tube and put the stock tube in the garage.

Grand total $13.50+ shipping

Thanks for the link. Do I need anything other than the tubing such as elbows or clamps?

Let us know how you like the quad intake. I thought about buyin one but couldnt find anybody with one to ask about. Quad makes good stuff but the intakes dont seem to be as popular around here.

042500,

No just use the stock rubber hoses on the 5.5" aluminum tubing.

Thanks runamuck, I was just in the garage taking apart the intake tube trying to get the silencer ring off which didn't happen, again and I see how it goes in now. Thanks for the help.

By the way any suggestions for getting the snap ring off? I tried and tried but I cant move it.

Edit: Wap I'll let you know how the quad intake works once its on.
