quadzilla commander?

ok all,
i just bought a commander it will be here monday and i was looking at the instructions.the pyro said to put between number 2-3 cyc.but then i see alot of people putting the pyro down in the collector.
so my ? is were should i put the pyro for best accurate reading.

I just followed the directions & mounted it between 2 & 3. Took me a few hours to get everything installed. I probably could do it now in about an hour now that I know where all the wires go.

The reason it says to go between cylinder 2 and 3 is that it is easy to get to. Unless you have a 90 degree drill putting it in the collector will be tough for you.

You can stick it anywhere you want, just know that most numbers you see on here will be about 50-75 degrees hotter than it will be at the collector.

If putting it AFTER the turbo, what spot would be the best?

The only benefits I see to putting it AFTER turbo is:
No concerns over metal shavings & dropped pyros
Easier to remove & HIDE the pyro

I think the temp difference is about 300-400 degrees, correct?

Mine is between the 2-3 cyl, if you are putting it post turbo i have always heard a good rule of thumb for every 10lb of boost you get 100 degrees.

I have pyros before and after ( I like to know what the turbo is doing) and there is anywheres between 150 and 400 degrees difference
