Quad-
I sent my race module in to you a couple of weeks ago for updated programming. It was RMA# 11075. My observations: Before I sent it in, it took a little longer to start building boost than it does now, but once it started to build, the needle would practically spring over to 40psi and stay right there. With the updated programming I start to see boost build a little sooner which I'm guessing is do to the low end fueling (which is great). Once it starts building boost it builds pretty quickly up to 25psi where it hits a wall. If I keep the pedal all the way to the floor and rpm 2500+ it very gradually creeps up to 40psi. This is how it behaves in the 60, 100 or 130 settings. If I put it back to the stock setting it will jump right up to 34psi like it always has. Does this sound normal for the new programming? Like yellowz28, I've seen 40psi once or twice, but I really have to try to get it there, unlike the older programming.

Anyone have any ideas, I just don't understand it. There is no shortage of fuel and i really don't think it is a tranny issue. Truck will not boost past 25psi. I had some luck earlier with getting the converter to lock and then it would build boost, but I am having trouble getting it to that now. I just don't understand

You don't have anything set to defuel at that boost level do you? Do you have a boost fooler?
Sorry if you already answered that earlier but I don't have time to read through all those posts.....

So let me ask this: Besides the number being shown on your commander, what is telling you that you dont have enough boost? Are your EGT's excessively high? Too much black smoke? No power? Does the power seem very slow to spool up?
I'd just say this, do not assume that the commander is giving accurate data, and do not assume that the data it is getting is correct. Never make assumptions when trouble shooting.

EGT's are extremely high, I have tested the voltage at the map sensor and it reads exactly at what the commander says. Spools quickly, but hits a wall at 25psi, you can feel the power drop off.
Boost fooler is built into the Quad Race box and I have no defuel settings on.
MAP sensor could be bad I guess, but I would think that would lead to a whole mess of other problems.

Nothing as of yet, I am saving to put in a goerend tranny or at least a TC and VB, but funds are tight, I don't know what else it could be
