quad,xzt,service-setting the record straight

Ok
I never did get on here and bash Quad, his products, or his service as some have. The posts I have made have all been questions or comments made in good manner. I was having trouble with a used xzt I bought. It took some time to work through, but I let my patience lead the way since they were assisting me with a product that I did not buy first hand. So here is the end result.

First, let me say that when I started to get frustrated dealing with his shop directly and sent Quad a pm with my concerns, I did so very politely and informed him of my issues rather than jump down his throat. What do you know, it works to be nice. He responded to me very quickly and told me how he was handling it. Here is the important part. He said he didn't care if I bought it directly from him new or if I was the 5th buyer off ebay. He wants to make sure that anyone with one of his products is happy with it.

I was sent a new box and harness after sending my pm to Quad. Whatever the problem was, it is in the used box I bought. My problem - right? Wrong. They are letting me keep the new box that works. I paid $175 for a used box and they are replacing it with a brand new unit to make sure that I am happy. Did I tell them I would get on here and talk them up? No. But I was treated more than fair and now have a well performing product and wanted to share my experience.

ill second that feeling about Qzilla and his customer service.

I haven't gotten my problem solved yet but Quad, and his techs Roark and Jeremy have been very helpful.

I too have a used xzt, but they are helping me anyway. Try buying a used laptop and getting factory help from dell, compaq, HP, most companies would tell you to get bent.

I did purchase a new harness for my xzt thia morning. Hopefully that will solve my problem.

I like it a lot. I'm not sure it would be my first choice if buying new, but it would be my second choice for sure. I would like to try an mp-8 stack with the hot juice, but then you need a rail pressure gauge to get it dialed in. So for the money, the xzt is great. Even new, it's $200 cheaper than the mp-8 and you don't need the rail gauge.
