I was looking at Quads new look on the web site and noticed the poduct features have changed. The race for instance on an 06 ranges from 100/225 and 140/290 hp depending on the module. The race advertised on shop dtr says race is 60-100-140 hp. I was thinking of getting the race, but im not sure about towing with a 100 hp setting?

Anybody got any info on the products. Seems there is a new line comming out with morse horses for us.

 

The RaceBox for your truck is 130hp max. Towing on the 60hp setting is sufficient unless there is something wrong with your truck. I have not tried to tow on the 100hp setting because my truck just laughed at a 9000lb load while I was on the 60hp setting....

 

Thansk for the reply zilla, where are you getting hte 130hp from? Are you saying that the product on Quads site is still adjustable from 60 hp ?

 

The Race box for the 03 and early 04 trucks is rated at 140hp. The Race box for trucks 04.5 and newer is rated at 130hp. The Race box has four settings. Off, 60hp, 100hp, 130hp. The Standard box for your truck also has four settings. Off, 30hp, 60hp, 100hp.
