Quad (and everyone else), can I use xzillaraider switch for lights?
Now that I have my Commander installed I no longer need the supplied rotary switch to control my Xzillaraider. But now I need a switch to control my offroad lights. I don't really like the supplied light-up toggles that come with the light kits and thought about adapting the 4-position rotary switch to control the lights. I like the look and feel of Quads switch, and I like where I have it mounted.
I want to be able to operate 2 sets of lights (4 lights total) like this:
* Position 1 - both light pairs off
* Position 2 - light pair A on, light pair B off
* Position 3 - light pair A off, light pair B on
* Position 4 - light pair A and B on
Of course I'd set everything up with relays.
So Quad and everyone else, does this sound possible?
Thanks!

It will work but, you will need to be creative to get it to work exactly as you described.
If you just wire it up as you are thinking you will get
Pos 1 - A on, B off
Pos 2 - Both OFF
Pos 3 - B on, A off
Pos 4 - Both on.
Now you could be creative maybe and get it to work how you want?

That's close enough! Thanks Quad!
Quad, can you tell me what wires control what function (like hot, ground, etc.)? If it's too much work don't worry about it. I can find someone with a little more electrical knowledge to help me out.

Just a switch. I won't be using these lights on the streets/highways so I don't see a need to tap into the high beams. Just a switch for nights in the desert.
