From reading the 2nd gen forum thread about it, it looks like they are still working kinks outta the VP product.

I too am axiously awaiting it's arrival. You've done betas for Quad before, have they asked you to test the Adrenaline when it becomes available?

Quad is still working the kinks out of the custom tuning software before he releases it. He has also added some other cool features since work began & he is working the bugs out, but it gets better with every update.

Good info J-Lent..

Lots of people are looking forward to it. I hope it stacks with the TNT better than the TST does right now. (on 04.5 and 05's)

It will be worth the wait. I had a Drag comp/Smarty stack & this thing makes that stack look silly. I tow between 15k-18k# & the egt defueling is so smooth that I can't feel it defuel [in 1% increments]. I also have less smoke & more power with no egt issues at all.

They need to work out the bugs on the X2 race. My truck has died running down the road three times in the past month with the X2. I can unplug it and it runs fine. I checked and the wiring and it is in perfect shape, box is plug in good. I can't seem to figure it out. Anyway it's coming off the truck and getting shipped back for something else. I'm tired of looking like a Dumb@ss with my hood popped up on the side of the road.

someone made the comment on here that it would be a "tst killer" somehow I honestly doubt that will ever happen. the tst doesnt even work on my truck but neither did the rail gauge that quad makes. so that being said I would have to see it with my own eyes to believe it would outperform a tst box

Townsend600 your not the only one this has happened to. Mine had same problem just running down the road and and dead. Talked with Jermy in tech they sent me a hole new set up. They have had a few X2's that this has happened, the processor just freezes up for no reason. Mine frooze permanatly which frooze up the control pod as well. It was stuck at 1629rp and 2psi boost. They can't figure out why. But alls good now with new box.

That was me, I was just spreading what I had heard. (My buddy went down there for his VP truck) And from watching the results of the VP version I belive it! These things should be sick!
