Quad Commander Install Progess.......
I double checked the connection today and it was not fully seated and pushed all the way in.
I put some dielectric grease on it and it now reads alot cooler.....172 once fully warmed up in 75-80 degree weather.

I love my commander and pillar mount also. My coolant stays around 190-200 here on 99degree days. I love the display on it night and day. I also like the way you can set warnings to flash for each sensor. Everyone used to talk bad about digital gauges but I think the commander is as good as any mechanical gauge. Just my opinion.
Well, THREE PHONE CALLS and THREE WEEKS later, I still do not have a trans temp sensor/sending unit.
The people who work at Quadzilla must be complete morons........
I am a first time Quadzilla products owner, and I am not sure I will ever purchase from them again, or suggest that anyone use their products.
Around June 10TH, I bought a Quadzilla Commander monitor, from Rollin Smoke Diesel....brand new in box. This was a great business to deal with, which had FAST shipping abnd a great price.
I attempted to install it, only to find parts were missing. It should also be noted that a mystery silver fitting was included, that the techs did not know what it is for!!
I searched and found on my own time that this fitting is a part for the optional fuel pressure kit, which I did not buy (in anticipation of buying the new fuel pressure kit, which I was told should be released shortly).
Anyways, on to my main problem and concern. The transmission temp sensor/sending unit assembly was not included or attached to the wiring harness.
The tech told me that it should have been attached to the ring terminal or in the box. Why would I call Quad and waste my time, if I did not need the part that should have been included?????
I first called two weeks ago and spoke with a tech. This tech stated I would receive the trans temp parts in 3 days. Well 7 days still nothing arrived, so I alled Quad for the SECOND time. I called and spoke with another tech. The initial call was placed on a Friday and the tech stated that I would receive the missing parts on Tuesday.
I was also informed that there was no record of the items being processed or shipped out. After checking into the matter, I was informed that trans temp units were on backordered, which I was NEVER informed of on the first/initial call. I was also LIED TO, because the tech stated he would ship one out that day, which never happened.
Well Tuesday came and gone.........and Wednesday came and gone. Finally Thursday evening the box arrived........WITH THE WRONG PART. I was sent an EGT probe with the manifold threaded bung. This part should have been shipped overnight or next day air. QUAD customer service is horrible.
I think that I should not have had to wait 1 week, especially since t was the WRONG PART!
I never said I needed the EGT probe, never mentioned the EGT probe, and never talked about the EGT probe with the tech department.
Last Friday, I had to again call, for the THIRD TIME, to the tech department. I called and spoke again with the tech department, who again stated they would send out the correct part.
This is very sad also that noone ever apologized for my huge inconvience or problems with Quadzilla. Noone ever offered compensation for my troubles. Noone ever offered an explaination or reason.
I am very pleased so far, with the Commander monitor, but I am very disappointed with the customer service and the quality control.
