quad cab child seats

sorry if this is the wrong area, but it is an accessory I think.

Anyway, the wife wanted this Britax car seat for little man, and it hits the back windo when I put it in, so much so that I wouldnt feel safe using it for the kid or the window.

Anyone run into similar problems????? is anyone using anything else with good results?

I have two car seats and use without issue. They are not the $300 kind though. The best you can hope for is to adjust the seat forward as much as you can or add padding under the base at the rear to help position the seat in more of an upright position.

Way back when I added 1" foam to my $50 seats making them far more cushy than many of the way-more-expensive brands.

We have an Eddie Bauer seat with a 90lbs limit or something like that with no real issues other than his feet do hit the center console a little. We deal with it though, most of the time he is in a booster seat now, since he is bigger... only use the car seat on long drives.... Never had an issue with my back window that I know of, guess I will have to check next time we got the seat in there.
