I tried to pm Quad but his inbox is full , I installed my CB and a Bob's CB mount today and went for a test drive , When I keyed up my truck took off like a bat outa **** , Anyone know whats up ? , I have the standard box and whether it is on or off it still does it , till now no problems since box install about 4 months ago ,

I had this problem with my 03,Quad said at that time to install these magnet things on the wires .made it better but would rough idle the truck when you keyed the mike

 

Sorry, my mailbox is now cleared out.

The CB issue could be multiple things. First try and make sure that the power or antennae wires are not laying on the wires to the module.

Also it seems that plugging into the power port can also cause wierd things to happen.
