I might have to swing by also. I'm doing the racing school in Post Falls on Thursday. Is the a website with more info on the events?

That is not funny at all and hits very close to home.
Several years ago we had a seriously Bad Dmax (I know, I know, we also had a seriously bad CR truck too). Well we went to do some test-n-tune on a Friday night at what they call Midnight Madness at one of our tracks. Our Race we were tuning for was Saturday night. So we were sort of pushing our luck anyways.
Well, the truck was running 6.70's (1/8 mile), then 6.60's and I started getting greedy. Then the truck went 6.52, then 6.515, then it went BANG!!!!!!! I blew a headgasket and hydrolocked the motor and spit 7 rods out of the side of the block.
needless to say we missed the event! Truck was a 3/4 ton 4dr, 4X4 and was only missing the spare and th tailgate. All the interior and stock sheet metal were intact!!

On another note, since I have not gotten in touch with you guys......
Alpha hardware is working, needs a few tweeks and then we will get the Alpha parts out. As soon as we get those parts "approved" we will ship the beta parts. That should be 2-3 weeks from now.
Once beta is good, we will cut them loose. SHouldn't be to much testing needed for this phase. Phase 2 will need a lot of testing and will take a good while to get completed. Once we get to that phase you guys are going to have to keep your mouth shut!!!
For now you are ok! Nothing to "secret" going on. Phase 2 is a whole different animal.

Glad to hear 'cause I'm starting to get restless and bored with my truck.

So it seems someone is getting a beta unit tomorrow (you dog you). Anyone else getting one? My email has been giving me fits the past 2 weeks. Did I miss the latest news from Quad?
