pusher pump
If your running it in conjuction with the oem pump you should not need a press. regulator the oem pump is your press. regulator,if your eliminating the oem pump then you will need a regulator.I would hook it up and see what your press. is and go from there.I run the bd pump and I have 24 psi at idle and have yet to pull it below 18 psi so I might add a regulator to mine,I think im pumping way more fuel then I need for my mods.
The Diesel Dynamics kit uses the 4601 pump from Carter and it is internally regulated to 18 PSI. It is meant to bypass the OEM pump. The kit comes with an aluminum block that goes where the stock LP comes off the filter housing. If you need any further help, call diesel dynamics and speak to Keith.
thanks for the info. i thought that it didn't need the regulator, but on the carter pump it says you do.
i am not sure if i have that block or not, but i will give them a call, thanks again.

I almost forgot....pulling the inner fender liner out and the front tire makes the job about 99% easier to do. Trying to get at the feed line to the CP3 to replace it with the 3/8 line is hard to do without removing the fender liner and wheel. Other than that, it's pretty easy. I measured my lines and made them up first before I mounted the AN fittings though. Trying to push the hose on the barbed ends is difficult to do standing on your head.
If you are unsure about anything else let me know. I would be happy to answer any questions if I can.
