I will be picking up my new white, quad cab, long bed, 5.9l 2500 this weekend or early next week. Current truck in signature is going to be traded. What will swap over? I assume the gauges and BHAF will be exactly the same hook up because it is the same motor. Will the leveling spacers work on the new one? Also what size exhaust does the new one have?

The gauges for the most part should be relatively the same, there may be some little differences in wiring and such, not sure if the coil spacers will swap over or not. And they have 4 in exhaust-enjoy the new truck I know I love mine!

The spacers should swap over. All the parts house list the coil spacers for 1994-2007 so they SHOULD swap over pretty easily. The Wheels will not, since you need at least a 7" wheel to clear the 3rd Gen Brakes. The exhaust is 4" and all it needs is a straight through muffler or a Genos Garage Muffler delete kit "straight pipe"..

Guess I will have some wheel with new rubber on them for sale to buy some new ones. I am also thinking of telling the dealer the deal is dependant upon him swapping out my stainless performance exhaust for the one on the new truck.

I think the factory exhaust piping is stainless? Not sure though and for a hundred bucks you can buy a nice muffler or a straight pipe and have all the performance your performance exhaust would cost. Scotty

Thanks for the info. If that is the case I am hoping that maybe the cat and muffler combo will be the same length and they can just swap that section for me. Maybe I will just insist on them changing out my leveling spacers instead since it will need aligned.
