only me

i just have stupid luck. i pull into work and put the truck in "N" to allow the turbo to cool as i look at my gauge i'm sitting at about 650. i think what the ---- is wrong now because it just stays there and won't go down. mind you the triple dog is on the lowest setting and never even been higher than that. i finally just turn it off. after a couple of hours i went back and started the truck again now the gauge reads all the way at the bottom between 1600 and 0. when i drive off though it cools to 1200. so i think i'm the only person that has egt's get lower on my counter clock wise opereating gauge, the harder i drive the truck.

Check your probe. It might be cracked, and need to be replaced.

Could be the gauge or probe!!!!

Chances are you will not be able to tell if it is the probe, many times it shows nothing but reads wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
