Pulling Power Performance

Does anyone know of any companies that are located on the East Coast that are reputable to perform Transmission and Engine upgrades for heavy pulling???

Enterprise Engine, or Scheids are what I call east. If your talking "coast line" east, then try Advanced Diesel Tech.(www.smokindiesel.com)

Re:Pulling Power Performance

None of the companies listed above can work on your 48RE.

Either DTT or ATS can upgrade the 48RE with all new goddies for pulling heavy loads. For engine mods on the new 03-04 common rail engine, I would suggest Diesel Dynamics. They have a total package of tested parts that work well. Although they are not on the East Coast, Im sure they have someone over there that can do the work using their parts.

Re:Pulling Power Performance

I have tried to set something up with ATS Diesel but for what ever reason, they're not returning any of my emails/calls. I will try DTT. Thanks.

Re:Pulling Power Performance

You could trade that slushbox truck for a 6-shooter and not worry about pulling power performance mods.

It appears that this would be much less stressful.

Dang I long for the day to get me a fast boat Chris. That thing does sound like fun. When I lived in the area you do I used to hang out at the CrabShack...that boat they had at the time ( late 80's ) was a bad dude. From that day forward I always wanted a rocket fast boat like that.

A few friends here have them too...not exactly in my budget yet though.

Naw...picked the slush box up for 17K and after I get it bombed to do what I want it to do then I'll still be spending lots less than I would for brand new.
