Question Programmer Question???

I have an 04.5 3500 CTD but just recently realized that the used programmer (Bully Dog Power Pup) that I have installed is for 03-04.5 and the 04.5+ is a different part number. I have had this programmer installed for some time and it seems to make great power. Are there any known or potential issues that may occur from using what may be the incorrect programmer?

Is it possible to load an incorrect programmer?

Also just wondering if anyone has had any experience with TCI torque converters and performance transmissions?

Where in my post does it indicate that I was asking if it works on a standard?

I need to find out if I will be causing any issues using a BDPP for an 04 VS 04.5....I'm guessing that yes there quite likley will be some issues but would like to know for sure before I look at getting something else like the edge hot juice with Attitude.

i dont think it matters, if it did explain why the tripple dog works from 03-06 trucks, only difference is that i think it will load a different ecm number like from the older trucks, does it start differently, run differently, harder or easier on fuel, do you hear any more rattle under your hood when driving?

Not sure there was any diference, just noted the BDPP for 04.5 has a diferent part number than the one for 04. Was just curious if anyone knew why thats all.

Beware - I have 06 and so far, none of the aftermarket programmers work on it. C-D changed the computer in some 06's, and it uses a totally different language that the aftermarket folks haven't adapted yet. Hook a programmer up and it doesn't hurt anything - but doesn't change anything either...
