Which programmer to get

I am new to this diesel performance stuff. I have a 2003 3500 Dually. I already put a MBRP exhaust on, and a AFE stage 2 with pro guard. Now I am looking to get a programmer. I can get a decent deal on the edge. Is that a good brand to go with. I am using the truck to haul a race car. I want to try and keep the mpgs the same or better. Give me some input. I was thinking of getting just the edge box and throwing some gauges on the pillar. I dont want to go replacing the tranny so I dont plan on doing to much more. How much more would you do and feel comfortable with the stock tranny? Its an auto. Any help is great.

Get the Smarty, you'll love it. Just be sure to keep the settings low or you will ruin the trans. The smarty is very adjustable and very safe. You'll have plenty of low end fuel to get your trailer moving and not much on top to cause high egt's and bad mileage.

DIABLOSPORT

It's awesome & reasonably priced.

I have the combination stack kit on my 03 (the Predator & Puck) & it ROCKS...

Where are you at in MD? If your close to Charles Town, WV....then I could take you for a spin in my truck so you can judge for yourself...

Smarty hands down!!! I have never felt a truck run this smooth and the power is just as smooth and insane... I have mine stacked with the mp-8 and OMG!!!! I wish I could explain how it feels but it feels like when I get 15-29 psi in boost I am being sucked through my seat!!! Remarkable!!!

I just bought the predator and I like it alot! plus since I still have a warranty it won't interfear with my computer so if something does happen pull the chip and take it in.

You might look into that a little more I am no expert but the smarty is suposively the only untraceable programmer/chip out there... But I don't know alot about the predator..

I had been told they were the only "TRULY UNDETECTABLE" programmer.

More than happy with my BD Triple Dog, plus there's some for sale in the classifieds for good prices.

BD's have been out for years, one of the first programmers I think? (could be wrong)

Smarty's are new, the latest, less than a year I think? (could be wrong again)

My plan was to keep it stock for a while, but at the price I got the BD for I couldn't resist the temptation, no regrets so far.
