Programmer?
I have an 06- Dodge Mega Cab just wondering if any one has dyno numbers on bully dog or edge? Banks posts their numbers on their website.Just trying to decide on which programer will give more power.
I have intake and exhaust. The TST sounds a little too extreme for me.

I replaced my muffler and removed the cat on my 06' mega cab and have had no lights come on at all, and the sound is excellent. As for the programmer, I plan on going with the Bully Dog. I have driven some other trucks with it and I really liked the performance.

Merritt,
Typical mis information!! Now you're local emmissions folks might not like you too much, but the check engine light is OK with it!
Which programmer or module is best for you is hard to say as everybody has different needs and uses their truck in different ways. Of the two you mentioned the Edge will win here at DTR hands down. But you have lots of other options too like ,Bully Dog, Superchips and more in the near future.
Stacking is adding an under hood moduel liek an Edge and then stacking a programmer like a Bully Dog or Superchips on top of it at the same time. The MP8 that TS Performance has is overall the best for stacking as it has a infinite variable output control so you can tune it in like you want vs what a manufacturer sets up and such. Get a cold drink and sit down and read here and at www.turbodieselregistry.com you'll get educated which products are for you soon enough!

Well right now I think that Bully Dog is the ONLy Triple Dog Downloader out there that does not leave a footprint at all in the computer. It does not erase key cycles or hours run or anythign like that. Does not leave a Skim Key code or anything. It is invisible once removed.

The Cat issue had been debate to death, The Diesel cat is design entirely different than gas Cats,It is design NOT to be restrictive or retain heat,it is position downstream form the Heat source.Any company that instructs you to remove it is without discussing that you violate the law when removing it does not have your best interests in mind. Its your Truck and if you decide to remove it make sure it your decision not some one else. The 06 Cummins does not have a EBP sensor so it is impossible to detect if the cat is remove,NOT so with the LBZ and 6.0 Ford,Removing the Cat on these engine can under certain conditions produce a C-code.
Bulldog and Banks Hp,Since the 06 PowerPDA is not available until JUNE the comparison cannot Be done.If you make a decision on power only Buy the T-Dog.If you Want longevity, reliably, dependability with Programing, Gages, safety,History and smooth HP, with trouble shooting, Buy BANKS.
