Without changing the turbo on your 03 your not going to see spectacular gains from programmer to programmer. It's very easy to max out the airflow & HP of the stock turbo with any of the tuning products. My 03 liked added pressure from the Dr. P & Edge EZ with the stock turbo but I'm currently running Smarty Revo with an 04.5 up turbo.... it's like driving a differant truck. I've owned the truck since new & tried most of the tuning products, the 03 - 04's need more air & a bigger exhaust to come alive.

The turbo is a direct bolt on. You do have to provide a boost signal for the wastegate but it's EASY to do. I put a little info on this post.

https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...d.php?t=231245

While your out getting hand me down parts pick up a stock 4" exhaust elbow & 4" downpipe from a 04.5 to 07 truck. The turbo needed is from the same years. I tried alot of programmers also, they each had there own feel but the truck was really never much faster than each product. The turbo change gave me the needed airflow to use the higher powered programs. Our 03 & 06 trucks now run very close together at the track with the same mod's...There used to be a 1 sec. differance!
