Problem With Quadzilla

I have been running the Std Module for about 3 months with no problems, when I switched it to the 100 Hp setting I had a CEL with a code of P0251. I have read thru several posts and this seems to be a trend. If I upgrade the fuel delivery system to the FASS will this aleviate the problem? thanks

call Quadzilla and ask firsthand....or wait for Quad here. they're good people who are easy to talk to. Call and ask for Roark...he probably wants a break from explaining how to install boost foolers!

I have spoken to them and they want me to send everything back to them, but I am not so sure it's a problem with the module now, but with the truck, I am thinking the module put to much of a demand on the fuel system and something failed.

pull the quad off and see how it runs. if it runs fine, its the Quad. if not, its the truck.

P0251 Injection Pump Fuel Valve Feedback

researching this on DTR and TDR, sounds like a pressure relief valve...

replace the banjo bolt with a regular bolt as a rail cap and clear the code. See if the code comes back. this should be a simple way to test to see if its good or not. someone please correct me if i am wrong.

The Quad is off and it set the code again, so it is definitely something with the trucks fuel system, if it is a pressure relief valve in the injector pump that don't sound good at all! Thanks for the lead, I will keep looking also.

The 0251 code is the 2nd most pain in the rear code that you can get on these trucks. It can mean bad things and it can mean almost nothing.

Typically this code is set because the desired CP3 pressure does not match with the Fuel Control Actuator (FCA).

Here are some things that I have seen cause a 0251 code.

Bad FCA
Bad Connection at FCA or CP3
Bad Relief Valve
Stuck Relief Valve
Bad Rail Sensor
Bad CP3
Bad Lift Pump

Some are a pain and others are not. Most likely you are going to have to send it in for service and let them do some tests.

Hope that was of some help? Also don't fret too much, Dodge sees plenty of 0251 codes, they should know how to test it by now!
