Pricol Rail Pressure Gauge

Does the wiring harness simply connect to the rail pressure sensor? Anyone have problems with this gauge?

There were some problems with the early gauges. I had an older one that didn't work right. My new one works great. Just plugs into the rail sensor.

Can I use this gauge with any module that plugs into the rail sensor? I guess the Pricol wiring harness plugs into the rail sensor and the module plugs into the Pricol harness. Is that correct?

You just have to make sure the gauge harness is plugged into the rail sensor first, or it will not read correctly.

Is the Pricol Fuel Rail Gauge competely electronic (ie, no fuel in the cab)? Where can I buy one of these gauges at and how much do they run? Also, what kind of lift pump gauge are y'all running? Do they make lift pump gauges that are completely electronic (ie, no fuel in the cab)?

There is no fuel in the cab. The rail pressure sensor is on the rail on the engine. It is electrical and measures usually around 5000 PSI at idle and up to 29000 PSI, plus or minus, at WOT depending on mods, etc.

You can buy the rail pressure gauge just about anywhere they sell gauges now.

Autometer is about the only electric fuel pressure gauge on the market now. The Phantom series has white face gauges that match our trucks very well in the day but not the best at night.

Most use FASS or Walbro fuel pumps. FASS can be bought at most performance shops and the Walbro is best had from http://www.glacierdieselpower.com/

There some electric solutions in the form of monitors on the market now. Quadzilla and Edge come to mind. You can buy most of Quads stuff right here on DTR.

Where's the lift pump gauge connect into? Is there a spot on the fuel filter housing or on the inlet side of the CP3? Thanks for your assistance staarma.

There's not a set position that it has to be. I got one of the filter canister lids for mine. I think it was from Geno's Garage.
