I'm confused, I thought the Hot worked on 03-04s or is it a different PPE Hot tuner????

 

It says in the manual it is good for the 2003-2005 but the HOT WILL ONLY work on the 2004.5-2005 in bold letters. We tried to load it into my buddies 2003 and it wouldn't accept it??? Maybe it needed a PPE software upgrade?? It's sitting in my garage anyways and worked very well in the 2005......

 

I wish they made a HOT for the 06's id really like to give one a try!!

 

When i first recieved the PPE and got it installed, put it on level 2 right off the bat, It didnt make much of a difference over stock... so i downloaded level 3.. a little more, nothing too impressing... So i was trying to figure out how the PTO feature worked, so i called PPE and they asked what version i had loaded, told them, They then told me i had an old version and they emailed me a new version immediately, got it loaded on there the next day.. Plugged it in stuck it level 3 right away again, just figuring that the update was just for the PTO, and HOLY COW!! Smoked like crazy... gobs of power!! Im very impressed now!! My only complaint is that i cant build over 26psi boost.. Just need a boost fooler, and it seems like it doesnt light the turbo as quick as my edge did from a stop.... but the programmer feels very strong compared to the edge. The edge kind of had a stopping point in the power band, this PPE just keeps climbing....
