PPE HOT stack

I'm interested in what people are stacking with the PPE HOT that has WORKED! I've read about people stacking it with the TST. Is that the TST singles or Twins version and what are each set at that you have been able to run? Has anyone stacked it with a VAC3.2 duration box? If so what levels have you been able to run each on? Any other combos??

My 04 ppe is only 215 hp, but it is stacked with the TST w/twins flash. My business partners truck (05) has the 300hp hot program stacked with the predator 2021, works awesome.

Get ahold of Barry at NADP in Edmonton Canada. His 2500 was doing 11.5's all weekend long and his dually did 12 flat....I think he is stacking it with a Predator pressure only and a VanAken....TST was not in the building. ks

PPE/TST stack

It doesn't stack at all unless you get the user adj timing feature for your TST. Then it is a sweet stack. Just tooooooooo much timing coming out of the PPE by itself. You have to crank the TST wayyyyyyyy down on timing. I'm running it right now. I have the PPE HOT, fyi.

OT, Better ask him directly, I was told a pressure only Predator....stage 2 maybe and a VanAken for timing only.....must be a beta as VanAken doesn't have timing....unless they meant duration only....4 th hand gossip isn't as accurate as first hand...Barry's a chat and a half givem a call. NADP.com I think, ks

OT - I dyno'ed this past weekend at Redline Motorsports in Albany, NY. I ran the PPE on Tow, the TST late twins on 4/2 (timing non-adjustable). It was quite warm and humid - the correction factor on the Dyno Dynamics dyno was 1.014.

I was only able to get one run in - max'ed the dyno at 1000 lb/ft right around 3000 rpm. Horsepower was 595.6. Max boost measure by the dyno T'ed off my wastegate was 63 psi. I think I have quite a bit left, both in terms of the upward fueling from the TST and efficient air from the turbo's (still can't seem to get the wastegate dialed in right).

I wish the guy would have informed me of his dyno's limits before I made the trip, but none the less, an useful day.

I agree that the PPE on HOT with the non-adjustable TST is too much timing - makes me ill to listen to the motor creating those noises. I run the above settings day in and day out - seems to run very smoothly, spool the turbo's nicely, and if I stay out of it - get good fuel mileage as well (19.8 hand calculated on the way down to Albany).

I had previously dyno'ed the PPE on HOT with a HOT Juice stack - and the netted only 496 corrected HP. I question whether the relief valve was blown at the time, however, I think there is a very fine line with the PPE on HOT in terms of maintaning rail pressure. With a stock CP3, whatever is stacked with it needs to be light or the truck seems to fall on its face. Maybe some mild pressure would work better than duration? I contacted Piers about their 685hp "special project" truck. They reported running the TST on 2/2, PPE on HOT (with DDP 90hp injectors and a stock CP3)

Hope this is somewhat useful information.

I'll have to ck out the predator lineup of boxes and see what he may have used for pressure, but I would think he was using the Van Aaken c3.2 duration only box. I can tell you because of my testing with the PPE HOT and the TST with the user adj timing feature that the PPE has got to have at least 15* by itself on extreme. They don't call it HOT for no reason,... it is a stout dl and I can't wait to feel the love when they remove the torq mgt and add the low boost fueling.

This sounds exactly right. I'm able to run the TST Twins '05 version a little higher 5/2 because I've got the adj timing feature on the TST and I can run it on just 3* because the PPE has got to be at least 15* by itself.

The rig also had a Piers cam in it. That probably helps out a lot at that power level.

Barry at NADP also used a pressure regulator to raise his rail pressure to 40000psi for racing, not something I would even do once...............
