I have a PowerMaxCR, AFE, and TripleLoc TC with upgraded Valve Body. Stock turbo and exhaust.

I notice reports on the message boards that reflect a variety of different experiences when the PWRMXCR is used on various settings. I have run mine at 7/7 from 10 MPH up to 110 MPH with no problem. Turbo boost up to 39 and EGTs in the 1500 to 1600.

I am wondering what causes the variability that people are reporting - specifically, the running out of diesel effect. I dont have a fuel pressure guage, but I dont seem to need one since I always have fuel.

The trucks and modules are all engineered and built the same. Why so many different experiences in performance?

 

different people have a different opinion on whats "no problem"

you say 1500*-1600* is no problem

I say anything over 1350* sustained is a problem
I dont want to see more than 1450*spike for a second

you say you havnt run out of fuel yet

I say anything under 3psi at wot will lead to a problem

theres the variability

im running on 2x3 and feel its a safe level and it feels like more power than my 02 with a comp box on 5x5

I think thats pretty impressive

not all the pmcr's have the same program in them either

if you have one of the first ones you may want to update it
