Power loss...this is getting old
Ok i have a question. When i was changing my injectors i was pulling out the bully dog (or putting it in can't remember) and someone unplugged it. The guy who unplugged it reinstalled it. Could this be giving me the on off power when i hammer on it? Should i get it reflashed?
Reupload the program and then reload the programer. It could be but most likely when something goes wrong with download process the tripledog will freeze. I am thinking you might have a different problem. Whats the truck do without the programmer have you tried that. How long ago did you do your injector install are you making any oil. Injector tubes/Injector connections can leak if not set back together precisely. I would take the Triple dog out update it and then take the truck for a reflash and drb scan then if all checks out good put the triple dog back on. Also when uploading the tripledog make sure cell phone charger is unplugged, radio off, doors shut, air conditioner/fan off, overhead light off, etc. Triple dog is wierd when it comes to that stuff and very sensitive it needs to be the only thing drawing voltage from the vehicle.
I removed some DDP injectors and put in some mach 3.5's, this was about a week ago. I drove the truck home and at WOT it would cut power then kick back on(on beta scarry larry) then i pulled it out and got the new version and put it back in, still did it. So i took the programer off completly, does it stock as well. Then i capped my rail to see if it was the relief valve...didnt help. Im pretty positive my injectors are installed right and what not? My rail pressure will get to 21K-23K then drop to 8K, then roller coaster back up and down every time cutting power to just about nothing when it drops. All the uploads were with radio off chargers unplugged etc... At the same time i ordered my injectors I had john at floor it go through my pump just to make sure it was ok.
I dont think so, John at floor it said that my stage II+ CP3 would support these, and since it does it on the stock setting i really dont think it could be a drained rail?
Go take the truck to the dealer and have them reflash the ecm to clear out anything that the bullydog may have left in their. Even if the truck isnt under warranty they should still do it for a minimal charge this should help in your process of elimination if this doesnt fix it then its not a problem with the bullydog you have a different problem.
