Yep, your truck has little "my baby's mommas" all over the country now... (fyi, that is a term I hear every day at my job instead of my "wife or girlfriend")

You started a movement and you didn't even know it! You should be proud!

Thank you thank you...

I acutally would love if there were a bunch more like all of ours...

I would call it the subtle bling class.

Now get to catching up on the hp/tq.

I wonder how those wheels would look on a white truck. Anyone done that to a white truck that could post pics?

They'd look really good. I've seen plenty of white trucks with black rims and they all looked good. Now white trucks with white rims, on the other hand, looks gay!

I like

White wheels would look to beatleish. You would need a flower cup holder in the dash.

for those interested I just adjusted the lower fender corner to make room for the tires. Quite easy. I just loosened some bolts and re adjusted the fender. Then I rolled the lower edge back.

It only took a few minutes each side and gave about 3/4 of a inch clearance. Woo Hoo. I have pictures to post.

I also removed the wheels and removed the powdercoating around the hub. The powder coating was too thick and interfeared with the hub. I removed quite a bit of powder coating when I put the wheels on. But not quite enough. The wheels were hard to remove, I used a big sledge to get them unseated. I then removed powder coat from the lug nut seats, hub area, and back of wheel.

If I were to get wheels powder coated again. I would have them tape off the rear mounting surface, the hub area, and the lug nut seats.

Also if you have put powder coated wheels on. I would make sure they are not seized to the hubs.

Any way, I will post some pictures if any one is interested.

nriver - Did you paint the grill assembly or buy a black set? If you painted, how did you do it? I've been trying to find out how to get my chrome blacked out, especially the bumpers but haven't had much luck. Let us know how the rear bumper works out.

Truck looks great, I really like the canopy too and the Buck Stop.. love the look of those bumpers.

The front grill is off a ST. I picked it up used for like $50. Then spray painted it, the fusion paint. It does not quite have the gloss of the hood, but is fine. It looks more like the bumper for color and gloss.

thanks
