Looking for some opinions (honest ones) and a little how-to. I have access to a Smarty Jr to try if I like. I am currently running a Banks OttoMind 6 with IQ and the intercooler, intake, exhaust. Will I need to completely uninstall the Banks setup to try the Smarty Jr, or is it a matter of pluggin factory connectors back in and tying back the Banks harness, or???

Also, if anyone out there has run both, is the difference worth the effort and cost to make the change permanent? I am very happy with the Banks setup especially after getting rid of the pathetic Palm device for the IQ - the IQ is light years ahead of the Palm.

nothing but good to say about my smarty jr give it a try . as for your banks never messed with one but yes it should just be unhooking it and puttign all the plugs back to stock then installng jr

 

My experience with "Chips" is either they themselves eventually quit or the connections give you trouble. With a tuner such as the Smarty JR you don't have to worry about it. Smarty JR is better than a Edge Juice w/ ATT.

 

You should be able to turn the Ottomind to stock, upload the SJR and go for a spin.. But be forwarned, you'll want one when you try it.
