Please solve my overboost code

Ok
When I installed my un-wastegated Aurora3k, I got a CEL for overboost. I called ATS. They told me to take the wastegate sensor off the stock turbo and plug it back into the harness and just zip tie it up somewhere. Tried it - didn't work. Called them back. They said I needed a boost fooler. I said that I have an Edge Juice that does boost fooling. They sent me one anyway. I installed it - didn't work. Called back. They said they had a new boost fooler they had been testing and wanted to send that to me. Put it on - didn't work. I was at Floor-It last weekend and John said that HTT and II have a little deal that plugs into the wastegate harness. He had one, so he plugged it in. Got out his code reader and cleared the CEL. Turned the truck off and started it back up. Whoohoo, no CEL. Touched the throttle - oops, CEL back. Did it again - same results.

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS?????......PLEASE!!!

I have the II plug....

i get over boost codes with the XZT and EZ...

No codes with a Quadzilla Boost Fooler....

No codes with TST.....

Depends on your boxes IMO....like for example, the Edge isn't designed to run an aftermarket turbo...since it reads off of the MAP sensor and we know we have to lie to the MAP to run a bigger turbo...so if boost goes out of Edge's range, what happens? Does it trip over boost codes like the EZ does? I dunno.........

i have the II boost plug for the turbo, a quad module, and a smarty with fooling software, no cel's. take a multimeter, and read the voltage of the dark blue wire at the map sensor, at idle should be .5vdc, wot 5.0vdc. see what voltage you are getting, that may show you if you have a bad map.

When you get the Overboost code and the CEL does it defuel or hinder the performance of your truck?

Except I'm getting less boost than I was with the stock turbo and never got any codes with it. Also, when John cleared the code, all he did was touch the throttle and it came back - no boost at all.

Thanks for the info, I'll check it out.

It doesn't seem to be considering my dyno numbers. It is for sure not enough to feel it. I just want to get rid of the stupid light on the dash. I'm tired of looking at it and having people ask me why it's on. Also, if it always on, I won't know if I get a new code for some reason.

I run the edge juice for my boost fooling, no problems, so I would have to say that you might be on the right track with the map sensor being the problem
