The canister would be used in place of the pick up straw sent with the Walbro 392 kit right?

Great post! Thanks.

Do the 06 trucks have a LP problem? Have not heard much issues with this year. If there is a problem is there an in tank pump that is good? Seems like in-tank is the way to go if they are correctly designed.

The only problem with an 06 LP is they don't put out much volume. Adding a chip or programmer you'd need more fuel than it can put out.
I can draw my FP to 0 with my BD.

Yeah the in-tank pumps are fairly reliable for stock or near-stock power levels. Like Fisherguy said, they just don't put out enough volume (on their own) for higher HP applications.

Just for everyone's information....... you can get the Jeep Liberty canister for $71.76 plus shipping through dodgeparts.com; I may be going this route soon considering all the problems I have when I get close to 1/4 tank of fuel.

hey Sixpack couple questions...when you get down low does your fuel psi gauge start to fluctuate????I am not running out of fuel(no stumbling or dying) but I do get lots of psi fluctuation when the tank gets low.....I want to try a jeep canister but I am afraid my 150 will suck a stock canister/basket dry....and cause even more problems....so how is your fp reading's when you are on 1/4" or less...steady???

Mine was good for over a 500hp and 1000ft lbs It only went down to 3 psi while pullin the sled with smarty on 9 and puck on 60hp. I personally had a harder time keeping the rail full

Would I be able to purchase the 03-04 GFS 392 kit and install on an 05 with the liberty fuel canister? It's pretty much a wash if that's the case. Would I need any more fittings?

That sounds like it'll work and I don't believe you'd need anything else. Depending on how far you want to go power wise you might want to think about modding the canister the supply and return on it are pretty small. But, if you're not worried about that and all your looking for is a way to not have to cut another whole in your tank I think you're golden with your plan.

I don't remember if I told you, but I am running it. And I don't get any fluctuating readings at or below a 1/4 tank. In fact I don't get any readings at all anymore

I pegged the gauge one to many times. When it was working though it never fluctuated . I need to find a 60 psi mechanical gauge, but I think they only make 30 or 100 psi gauges (mechanical anyway).

Cool. I'm thinking no more than 500 -550. I'm planning on doing nothing more than smarty #9. No turbo, no injectors..... Just a clutch and fuel system.
