New to the threads, Hello.

Got bit by the power bug with my '04.5 600 Cummins. As of now i only got a 360 K&N air intake and cut my muffler off. Since the truck came stock with 4" exhaust no need to stick a expensive muffler and repipe. Been reading around for a few days on some performance mods. As of now just about every search leads me to Banks, Edge and Bullydog. In that order. I just want to get some input on what has already been done and real life experiances. This is what im looking at right now, Charge-Air cooler and High ram intake from Banks. Still looking for a aftermarket exhaust manafold and finnally the Banks 6-Gun PDA with speed loader. I will eventually get interested in a new Turbo but i want to upgrade everything else before I stick a new turbo on it. Any and all help or information would be appreciated

 

Forget Banks, too much for too little. Might want to research air filter systems to see if you want to stay with K&N.

This would be my priority list with boxes/downloaders I have tried on an 04.5 600.

1 TST PMCR
2 Edge Juice/Attitude
3 Quad XZillaraider
4 Edge EZ
5 Bully Dog Triple Dog Downloader
6 XXX Dr Performance my experience is don't go there either.

Transmission upgrade or Clutch upgrade should be on the list before you get over 100hp upgrades on. The Search function will provide you with plenty of options, opinions and ways to spend your money.
