40 psi out of your stock turbo is what killed it. They are only good to about 32-35psi. Anything over that is really killing it.

 

I ran my stock turbo on 9/9 with 40 psi of boost for almost a year and it didn't die(wasn't good for it either). If the boost builds too fast or you let off the throttle too fast the shaft can't take the torque.

 

thanks guys for the info, its just that i want power like i had but i am starting to think that the tst is too much. However, i'd like to try an edge juice attitude for an 06 but their not out. on the other hand if i wanna spend some money and have something that can really run i might wanna keep the tst.
