Pacific Performance Engineering Programmer..

Has anyone ever used one or thought about using one..

I was talking to a Chevy guy and he asked what programmer i was running and i said a SuperChips for now but i was going to change out to a Smarty and thats when he hit me with a Pacific Performance Engineering Xcellerator..

Here's the info from the site::
Features:

Additional 215HP and 325 Ft.-lbs of Torque max at the flywheel.
Three power levels & retains stock programming, increase gas mileage by 2-3 miles per gallon, and much more...
Simple download into the OBD II port under the dash. 1-year warranty.
Product Description:

For those looking for power, PPE is delivering with the Xcelerator for
the 2006 Dodge Cummins Common Rail 610. In addition to the three levels of performance, the Xcelerator can add up to an additional 215HP and 325ft-lbs of torque. It also defuels for upshifts and down shifts in order to allow transmission to engage into next gear without the need for extreme transmission modifications. This Xcelerator is designed for the true enthusiast who wants the best for their RAM. No other programmer does so much, for so little. This unit is great for towing, drag racing, off-road, sled pulling and more.

Program levels 1 thru 3 will remove fuel (defuel) from engine during shifts as needed to keep an un-modified transmission from slipping.

The Xcelerator also retains the stock program so that the truck can
be put back to the original settings if the need arises. By increasing
the efficiency of the engine, Xcelerator increases fuel mileage (2-3 mpg
on average).

*Horsepower and Torque is represented at the crank

I would like to know myself. I have been tossing around getting one of the hot excellerators but have searched numerous forums with little success.

I know that different programmers all give different results on different trucks so any info from a user would be greatly appreciated.

Do not mean to steal your thread just looking for info also.

I think people had problems with PPE eating ECM's and running higher than normal EGT's. The chevy guys seem to like them around here.
