The 270 HP down loader sounds good , Even at flywheel thats TST power with out all that hardware. No adjust ability on the fly though. Anyone familiar with Pacific Pros & cons welcome.

Ive seen their ads in snowmobile mags for years, they advertize a 300 HP downloader as well, but I think its for the D-Max. Their ads look impressive but I dont know anyone running them.

I called yesterday, duration & timing is done through the down loader. He said dyno info should be up on site in a few weeks. I'm not sure but I think it does speed limiter/ rev limiter adjustment, they have been using them on the duramax for a while. It has 4 choices of programs.

Adjustability

I've heard that the BDDL Outlook works with all other DL's which would provide in-cab adjustability.

I will wait for the dyno Info, before I buy. I cant understand how they can write a program for our computer, that must be a very complex, time consuming task. But drag there feet posting dyno info on the website. Gristle, I wouldnt be surprised if the case they use is a stock part used in many applications. Why spend the money on design, when you can buy if from a catolog.

i agree i'm just thinking that it looks like the rewrapped bully dog and it seems like ats rewraps it. I notice that they don't have the dodge programmer there yet and i asked them but they didn't have anything other than the duramax. Ats that is.

You can't have in-cab adjustability with a downloader - because the way you obtain power with a downloader is to change the program in the ECM. What the Outlook does is de-fuel at a certain EGT level. That's not the same as adjusting the power level from in the cab.

If someone is re-writing the ECM code and they were good / clever enough there probably isn't a technical reason they couldn't allow for in cab adjustability via the cruise control buttons or some other oem switches. Just make a certain set of key presses that aren't normally used initiate the adjustabilty, etc. If they did that and dsiplayed the selected level via the odometer, that would be the super slick.

Can you explain how the adjustment works? How does the driver's power setting get communicated to the ECM?
