Pace Edwards Bed Cover
Anyone using the Pace Edwards bed cover or a like product from another manufacturer? What are your experiences in terms of quality, durability and ease of use, especially in comparison to other style covers?

I had one for 7 yrs...on 2 trucks...no problem and held up well.
Only thin that went wrong was that latch at the back came apart...a nut came off.
After seven yrs it looked a bit faded...no roll top on the 04...its gettin stacked!

I have a pace edwards cover. It works fine. Lots of abuse, slammed open and shut, stuff piled on it, and it has not failed. Sand and dust in the rails (kinda gritty right now) but still opens and closes no problem. Have a locking tailgate now so stuff is away from eyes and keeps people out.

I've got a Pace Edwards roll top cover...It's the only cover I've had, other than a truck cap. I like it and I think it makes the truck look good, and it keeps the stuff in the bed dry and outta site. I have a couple of pictures in my gallery(not very good quality, but you'll get the idea.)

Just a bit of info. I had the Roll N Lock, and was very pleased with it. Much like the Pace Edwards. The only thing with these is the fact one has to put protectant on it constantly as UV takes its toll on it.
On my new Dodge, I went with the Retrax. Locks anywhere in the track, and ultra hard finish, like the finish of cars and trucks. Drive through wash, and dry, and just as shiny as your nice pickup.
Just my two cents.

Do you have a long bed or short bed truck? Because it says the long bed uses a traditional style raised cover. Do you know what the difference is between that and the "one piece" flat design? It's Sunday, so I can't call them today... figured I'd see if you knew the differences. Thanks.
