I wanted some feedback on the Pros and Cons of the Pac brake for 2005 Dodge with an automatic trans. I heard that it stops working below 30mph does anybody know if this is true?

 

my prxb worked almost to a crawl. it would not disengage until around 5mph. that is with a standard, i know you asked about an auto

 

It all depends on the T convertor locking or unlocking. Dad has an 06 and his stops working under 22 MPH but that's where the convertor unlocks. I think if you buy the controller from BD or ATS you could control the lockup and effectiveness of the brake. The 06's don't need it as there was a change specifically for the brakes but 05 needs it.
