outlook w/power pup
outlook w/power pup
just installed outlook and downloaded the 90hp setting from the power pup. notice a lot more black smoked. is this normal for the 90hp setting? also, i don't want to mount the outlook on the window or the driver side pillar. anyone have any other suggestions? also, what type of fuel mileage increases have those with the power pup noticed and what egt (pre-turbo) temps are you getting? what is the limit you set the outlook for?
I've got the same set-up and when I first got it, I had the same questions about mounting that you have. I finally gave up and went for the SRT-10 A-Pillar mount and now that I have gotten used to it, I do really like it there.
As far as milege, the best I can remember is a 2-3 mpg gain but I seem to notice it more on the HWY than in town. It's pretty hard for me to give an exact as my truck is lifted and I'm turning 37 inch tires. I do have everything re-calibrated now and again, 2-3 mpg is about all I can see.
Definately happy with the power!!!

I mounted my outlook on door side of the speed cluster area , I pulled the vent on the side and drilled two holes into the windshield mount and tapped it for small machine screws, the only thing is blocks is the low fuel light and I can see the gauge just fine.
