Outlook Monitor Coolant Temp Vs Dash

My Outlook monitor is registering coolant temps around 210 pretty regularly but the dash gauge says I'm around 200. I just had my fan clutch replaced and that is when the larger discrepancies started. It used to read around 202 or so. Is this something I need to be worried about? Since they both are electronic, shouldn't the reading be coming from the same place? Which one should I trust? Anybody else experience this? Thanks

My Outlook reads 208 almost all the time since I installed it 15,000 miles ago. My dash gauge says just a hair to the right of straight up 200 almost always. My Outlook only reaches to 210 once in awhile when i'm towing towards the top of a grade. This is in the desert at temps over 100 deg F outside.
Cheers
Mike

your Outlook is reading exactly what the ECM is reading from the engine temp sensor, no worries there...... so if you were overheating. It will be reading that temp and you wouldnt get a silent derate till close to 225 degree's.
