I have no clue what you truck will do, I have the Smarty and it is by far the coolest thing I have done to date.

I recognized your username from a write up you did last year on enabling high idle on the six speed. I printed it out and it is still on my desk here.

Good luck with the Smarty.

if you are putting it on that truck with the injectors that thing should smoke like no other. depending on how the injectors are made. I dont think you will be let down by the smarty you get what you pay for. I have had 3 triple dogs and it smokes more and seems to be more driver friendly to me leaving it on the high settings

With the smarty alone I put down 467hp, I am not sure how the injectors will impact you. But I would be willing too bet you will be rollin 550ish.

i dont think his power will be that high, if he is running a stock cp3, the smarty/injector combo will drain his rail and kill the power. there isnt an injection pump listed in his sig.

There are a few guys that made 550+ with a Smarty and smaller injectors, but they were 04.5+s....

I was under the impression that I will be showing in the 460-480 range with mine, just based on Bob's testing with a BONE stock CR.

So many factors at play though.

I'm going to throw a bone in here and say I like my BDDL on crazy larry better than any smarty tune. The smarty smokes way too much for my liking, particularly with the Silver 62 turbo's slightly later spool over stock. My truck made more power with the crazy larry, has less timing rattle, and smokes less. That's a WIN WIN WIN in my book! I still have my smarty and am looking forward to the new programs once they are released to the public. But for now, the smoke is too much for me. I love the way the wild tune on level 9 drives for sure, as long as I never look in my rear view mirror! It lights my Silver 62 better than the crazy larry program, but obviously at the expense of crazy smoke. I tried the aftermarket injector, stock tq management program that Bob suggested to reduce smoke, but then it only made it smoke about as much as my crazy larry with an even more sluggish throttle response. I'm not bashing the smarty, just slightly prefer the crazy larry tune over any smarty tune on my particular truck.

does the new beta software reduce smokage with the smarty? I've noticed that the no-timing sw's seem to smoke a tad less but maybe its just me. curious about the beta version.

I've never understood why some people LOVE smoke. Its just wasted fuel (which aint cheap these days).

I tend to be a fairly considerate person so covering 10 cars behind me without even seeing 1/2 throttle kinda bugs me

some ppl like smoke. if you dont thats your choice. I try to be nice on the highway to ppl and not blow smoke on them until the get right on my bumper or they cut me off etc. if you like the bully dog thats great. but not everybody wants something that wont smoke at all. I run mine on sw9 it wont until you want it to. the tst would flat out not smoke on my 05. they make it for ppl who pull trailers and its geared towards ppl who work with their trucks. Im not ******* tst, I have a powermax cr waiting for install.
certain modules wont smoke others will. I would say if its not want you want return it.
