I got mine last week. I can't tell that much of a difference. Seems like the light might be a little wider. Lighting is still POOR if you axe me.

Paddz, did you order the xtremes or the platinum whites? The color temperature of the platinum whites is much better for night vision. The beamspread is definitely wider, and I can definitely say the platinum white's are a lot brighter! Someone kept flashing their lights at me the other night until I flashed my brights...=]

Coobie, you may want to keep that box and receipt. I put the Xtreme white 9007's in and didn't notice anything.

It's a clear plastic film that's applied to the painted surfaces to prevent chipping, scratching, etc. It goes on like window film and can be peeled off later if desired.

Invinca-shield is a company that custom cuts 3M scotchcal kits for vehicles. For example they have a 13 piece dodge ram sport kit that covers every single painted part of the front of my truck

As far as 'can be peeled off later if desired' - I'm not sure how easy that is. However the stuff is seeminly pretty sturdy and I have no rock chips on the front of the truck, which is a small miracle here in FL...

I ordered mine from autoprofection.com ($66.95 free shipping) and they must have been out cause they came direct from PIAA in Beverton, OR. Week and a half for delivery. Anyway I got the Extreme White and I'am very happy with them. I changed only one to begin with to see the difference and they are much, much brighter than the stock bulb (Sylvania). I was also concerned that they might be that ugly blue color because they have the blue tips and the glass is a little blue, but they are just very bright white and you can only see hints of blue streaks coming off the reflect if you look directly into them. Actually looks quite kool. I was also concerned about the color temp and just what our eyes see at night but since my eyes are getting dim themselves I figured I could use all the help I could get. Anyway, I am very happy with them and believe they were worth the bucks. It would be very interesting to see the Platnium and the Extreme side by side. Just my .02

I also installed one at a time, and the piaa's are certainly brighter and wider. I agree that even though the PIAA's are an improvement, the lighting is still not the greatest I've ever experienced. HID's are awesome - I have full xenons in my E300, and its like having 4 of my ram's headlights shining...

Anyone change the bulbs in the fogs? Was it worth it? I think they're 9006?

Yes the fogs are worth it. You might also want the two sets of lights to match color. PIAA headlights would make the OEM fogs look yellow.

Does anyone have a difinitive answer on the bulb sizes for both the headlight and the foglight....

I have called Dodge and they tell me mine is a 9006 for the headlamp and cannot tell me what it is for the fog.

BTW - mine is an '03 3500 Sport
