I haven't read much about this kit on here and search isn't turning up much. I've seen the price quoted at $5300 for the complete kit... doesn't seem too bad if it works well. Geometry looks pretty good and the King coilovers are trick.
I'm looking for opinions because I'm interested in something bigger than the Lorenz/Carli that's still high end. Thuren's radius arm system with custom coils sounds nice, but this looks like a decent alternative and higher quality than the Rize system. Only 12" of travel on this setup but it's got high end bumpstops and I'm not going to jump my truck, just pound it over bad oilfield roads.

As for the price, the Kore Technical system seems to be it's closest competitor? I'm no expert, just trying to do some research.
There's a reason that the KORE systems don't use coilovers, and it's not because they didn't test them..It has to do with safety.
The early T-rex proto suspensions actually tested a coilover setup. The problem is safety in event of a failure. Coilover springs just aren't beefy enogh for a given spring rate, and when they fail (fatigue failure) they can cause complete loss of control-- definitely a safety issue.

Like others have said, id steer clear of coil overs, especially on a big heavy truck, and if its every going to actually be used, if its a mall cruiser it might not be too bad...
Another thing I wanted to say, like dieseljunkie pointed out, not sure what the rear setup consists of(control arms, or relocated spring mounts/shackles?, who knows), or maybe its just the angle of the picture, but it looks like the rear axle is sitting forward quite a bit.
Oh, and the wheels sticking way out, for no reason isnt my cup-o-joe.
Aside from all that, id give Don Thuren a shout, get his long/radius arm setup in the height you want, great shocks, and a good ride, not to mention out perform the spirson setup.
Just my .02

Well the concerns over the coilovers breaking seem like a good reason to avoid the system. I didn't know the coilover springs themselves were that unreliable compared to regular coils but with this much weight on the front end there's no reason to risk it.
I'm trying to pick up another 2006 or 2007 and I think it'll be getting the Thuren makeover. If anyone knows of any low mileage 06/07 Megacab Laramie's (not 6.7s) in the Pacific NW shoot me a PM.
Thanks for the help guys.
