One Last Trip to the Shop (Flux Sizing Q)

....well that is the intention anyway.
I'm about to add a coolingmist system and injector upgrade. I'm happy with the spooling of my turbos now (maybe a touch on the slow side) so I don't want to go with larger turbos. Don has suggested that I go with 5.0's instead of my current 3.3's -- truck will see some track time, unlikely to sledpull, mostly street driven. The only hauling it really does is a harris-kayot deck boat. Its a farm truck, but all that means is about 600lbs of feed in the bed for our 'pets.' I don't haul a big horse/cattle trailer at all. So basically I want to do this one more time and that's it. Is 5.0's the largest I can reasonably do, or should I go up a bit more? Also, guesses as to where in HP the upgrade will put me. Thanks all!

Those times were with the 4.3's and only the Smarty. I have not had the 6.2's to the track yet. It can definately get a little warm, my water keeps it around 1300. Smoke is totally controlled by your right foot. I daily drive them and its not a problem.

Okay so we have one "Don won't go larger than 5.6 on an 03" and one "love my 6.2 on my 03" --- so, Don, could you chime in?

We will make bigger than a 5.6 for 03-04s. The 03-04s actually do better with big injectors than the 05-07 engines. I have been using 6.2s almost a year and will have 8s in next week. Tim

Well given that Don may have misunderstood what my definition of "farm truck" was -- and given my turbo selection, what do you think I should go with to basically max out where I'm sitting right now as far as the supporting mods go? (thanks again everybody!)
