Ive narrowed my choices down to either get a smarty jr or a van aaken box. i have driven a truck with the van aaken in it but smarty jr gets great reviews so i was just wondering what all of your guys input would be.

My vote is a Smarty Jr. or even a Quad Std. box.

 

is the xzillaraide 2 the same as the std box except you can update it with custom files. also is the quad easy to install and uninstall?

Ya quad x2 is the same other than the usb updates. And yes its really easy to take in and out

 

would it be ok on a stock tranny?

 

Smarty would be my vote, stay away from vA if you want any kind of tech support. Since Don Jolley left there is none.
