Ok,Ok,...I give up on Toyo Mt's...need tire ideas.
I hear ya, I didn't mean to come off as they are indestructible. Just that from my experiences they are the best MT you can buy for these heavy high torque trucks. Every product will have defects or certain circumstances that causes failure. I am certain that my day is coming, I have been very fortunate the performance I have received out of each set I have bought over the last 8 years.
A neighbor hauled a Toyhauler to Honduras and back to San Diego without a flat. They are tough.
If you put these on a farm/ranch truck that doesn't see much pavement they would last forever (maybe not forever )
I wouldn't put the original somehow-they-still-con-enough-people-into-buying-this-junk-to-make-a-profit-making-them Wrangler Radials on a go-cart. I think they only make them in 1, 15 inch size, so not too much an issue for us.
Not as long as you guys are getting out of them. Yokohama Geolanders, a/t Wrangler Authority's, Dynapro MT's, pulling goosenecks, need replaced yearly. I've got 2 Discoverer AT (2's?) on my truck (blemishes, "wintercat" on the sidewall) got about 30,000 out of them, and it only sees a few real loads a year. Maybe half that time was on pavement.
