Oil Temperature Gauge Install

I have a 2003 CTD and have 3/4 Autometer Gauges hooked up. I'm having a little difficulty as to where I should install the Oil Temp Probe. Anybody have any ideas?

if your gauge is electronic with the 1/8"npt sending unit, you can screw it into the ports on the filter pad.
