i got a question. with twins does it make it harder to get the oil filter off? or is it the same?

 

Makes it impossible unless you take off your cold pipe. I run a remote oil filter, that makes it easier than stock.

It does make it harder, while not impossible. But it is easier and more desireable to run a remote kit. My first set of Piers twins left the oil filter in place but the intake tube was up tight against the filter.

 

look at that. we are almost done with Jims truck. It will be a monster!

 

My twins should be here at the end of the week, cant wait to get them on....

 

It just makes it harder.. I dont have a remote kit and I just get it from under the truck when im pulling the drain plug.. Its a straight shot down and if ur careful u wont spill a drop..

 

XX2....You can even put a large zip lock baggie over the oil filter just in case.

 

I can hardly get my hand onto mine.

 

i can take a pic of Jims before we install the rest of the goods. we have about 3/16" of an in MAYBE between the filter and the boost tube headed to the intercooler

 

can i join in the club? i dont have "twins" but it is compouned just with 3 instead of two.

 

I guess you will be # 58 then... or you can start a "triples" club; I am thinking membership might be a little small though!
