OBD II and Electronics NOT WORKING
Was at the Dyno today at L.C.D and tuning the rig on the road. Smarty POD was plugged in the whole time. Got back from 1st run and parked on side to set different timing. Looked at Smarty and it was BLANK . I looked at the OBD II plug-in and it was apart. You could see the gold plugs(that are hiding inside the plastic that you attach your ODB scanner too) on one side, while the plastic piece(OBD II plug in part) was inside the Smarty plug. So basically my OBD II plug came apart and the Smarty couldn't get plugged in. Put the plastic piece back in and tried plugging Smarty in. NO LUCK . Seemed as if no power was going to the OBD II.
Symptoms When key is OFF
* Lights don't turn on.Including in cab lights.
* Doors don't lock.
* OBD II port doesn't have power going to it.
When key is in the ON position
* CD Player doesn't work.
* OBD II port still does not work
When turning over the key, in the cluster a Red little light blinks once. The cluster takes a second or two to get going. Before when I turned over the key, the cluster use to react right away. And whenever I turned the key 3 times in a hurry, it use to tell me if a code was showing. Now it doesn't do that, because it takes so long for the cluster to respond.
Checked all the fuses in the box and they all tested good.
Maybe when the OBD II came apart, it touched the metal under the steering wheel and caused a fuse somewhere else to blow? Can't be the ECM, since the truck still fires up and got back home.
Just that once the key is off, nothing actually works. Just the alarm goes Beep. Doesn't even lock the doors. I have to manually unlock the doors and when you open the door, lights will not turn on.

I think it is a fuse J.P. Another guy had the same problem. So basically, if he is right. YOU WERE RIGHT ABOUT A FUSE BEING BLOWN!!!!
From CompD,
Sorry i'm not by my truck right now or i could tell you the exact fuse number.. mine did this same thing, only it took me tearing the whole fuse box out, tracing wires looking for a short.. But look in your fuse box under the hood, and it's the fuse with the little black clip on it, so's you can pull it up, but won't come all the way out... It also hides the fuse so you can't see if it's blown.. I'll try and get you the fuse number.. It may be a grey clip over that fuse..
