Noise while stacking?

I had a HOT Juice on level 5....bullydog on tow....MP8 on 40%...floored it and had a funny noise coming from the drivers side of the engine....not a rattle just a buzz under hard acceleration...

kinda sounds like an isspro boost gauge vibrating...

stacked Crazy Larry and TST and TS MP8.....ran it for a day, no problems. Its now starting to make the noise....not nearly as bad as Edge/Bullydog but still there.

I think i'll pull off the MP8 and try that....

any ideas on what this noise is?

I thought I remebered you saying something about a fass. Yeah I think that your rail is drying up,, it would be my first guess. I just ordered a rail guage from Doug Leno, (diesel specialties LLC) I am anxiously awaiting it. I think that with the kind of stuff that you and I are trying to do it is a must option

Morkable i'm not disagreeing with you at all....i am in favor of your philosophy...

but how do the other guys do it?

Ramwheelsby for example....12 second truck....stock cp3, just a FASS on the fuel system.

What gives? are we back to the "every truck is different" phrase?

Yeah I think so,, I mean look at my truck, I dont ever get timing noise out of my truck, and I am living -25 celcius right now. I max out my stuff all the time, I tow on max all the time.. I cant explain it. Its kinda like when you raced that one fellow, that should have beat you, but you pulled away from him....... I think that my truck will be a mid to low 12's next year after the headwork I Have booked for this winter

Yea...on crazy larry it fuels too much down low...which equals SMOKE!!!

Bullydog already adds pressure on extreme and crazy larry....so i wouldn't add any pressure with the MP8.

Most of the time when you run your rail dry it will make a poping noise(not real loud, but there) When you hear a rattle it could be timing or it could be the pump with alot of pressure.

Yea i knew about the popping thats why i didn't diagnose it as rail running dry.

I can't figure it out.....I even turned the TST and TS off.....with the BDDL on Performance and it still made the noise

Mine was making a spark-knocking noise from 1200-1800rpm. I found out it was 2 bad injectors.
