Nitrous

Those who use NO2, do you spray it just long enough to clean up the smoke/light the turbo/build boost or all the way to redline?

I'd like to know this as well. I'll be adding a kit very soon!!! Wouldn't you spray the full length of the track once boost kicks in and it's safe to do so?

Use a HOBBS switch set at 20-25psi to turn the nitrous on. You need to have a full throttle switch what will activate the hobbs switch which inturn will activate the nitrous. VERY EASY and no chance of hurting anything if you don't go wild with the jet size.

I'll be starting my tunning with a .045 jet and turnong the boost down to 45# from 52psi. maybe then my head pressures won't get too crazy.

The studs will be the best $400.00 you will spend on your truck if you are going to run nitrous or run 60-65lbs of boost.

I think that studs are the best 400 you could spend even at 50 psi,,, I am hitting 55 now, and getting worried. As for nitrous goes, I know that Barry out of NADP in Edmonton, only runs a small single shot of nitrous, as for anymore info about that I will learn more and let you know. But he is running mid 12's with a 03 dually.

Where do you get the stud kits from for a good price? I know they are ARP, but can't find them in Summit. I need the part #.

Go to DTT and see what their price is( I think its $399.00) and the part #. Then call JEGs or Summit and tell them the part# and that DTT is selling them for $399 and you want them to match the price(thats what I did)

This way you get the studs for $399.00 instead of the $450.00 they want and you get free shipping Don't tell them that Dtt charges shipping. They will ask you to hold because they will have to check DTTs web-site. This works great
