I have thought about getting some of those or some from Snow just for ease of changing them out.

I am not really sure how these work, but it seems like you are missing a methanol storage tank. Is it because you are running only water?

No, you always use a single tank. You can run straight water or a mixture of water and methanol out of 1 tank. Having a separate tank with 100% meth would be very dangerous.

Gotcha, thanks for clearing that up, but then why use two nozzles?

Cause 1 big one just ain't enough for the mighty CTD!

Not sure why they haven't come out with larger ones yet. Maybe the standard 150psi and 220psi pumps supplied with the kits just don't have enough pressure/volume to atomize through a larger nozzle?

my thought is better atomization of the water/meth, it allows for more volume, and it increases the ability to tune, and what he said.

Yeah, that has to be it.

A larger nozzle also won't atomize as well at lower pressures. If you're using a progressive controller that kicks in at 50% or less you might get drips or a stream instead of a mist.

I'm sure that's the answer. And if you need more there are setups that use more than 2 nozzles and some that use more than one pump...

I can't imagine needing that much spray...

Max egt I've seen since the install is 1200 at around 100mph and 50psi boost. She had more in her but traffic wouldn't allow. That's around a 200 degree drop.

I'm excited to see it in action, it may be my next mod, although i am far from "needing it."

I am tempted to do one pull with out it, just to see if it hurts performance, but with a max of 3 pulls, I may not be able to because I want to try different smarty settings and software.
